We have been very busy dealing with some more sickness {insert funny story about Trevor puking in the jail} and out of town a whole bunch too.
We had a fun weekend all to ourselves {NO KIDS!} in Sun Valley. I wish we had more time to play while we were there, but Trevor was busy in his continuing legal education classes. BOOO! No ice skating for us... sad.
The weekend after that we went to Utah to see our new niece baby Alice LaRae. She is sure a sweetie! I couldn't get enough of her, but we were only there for a few hours before it was time to head back. Hope it's okay if I put her picture here, but she is beautiful!
Last weekend we went to my parents' house to help put a roof on their shop/garage and also to put on a baby shower for my older sister Megan. I haven't been there since Thanksgiving, so it was nice to be home. Too bad the kids got sick YET AGAIN while we were there, and we hightailed it out of there to beat the puke.
We are planning on being home this weekend and hopefully get to rest. It's nice to go on trips, but it's also nice to be in my own house.
I swear winter illnesses are sticking their claws into anyone who will get close enough! Give it up, spring is (almost) here!!

ReplyDeleteI have to tell you the funnies thing. I was reading your post, and didn't originally see the picture of your niece. I just saw the write-up of how you went to UT to see your new niece, etc. and then saw a picture of the cows and thought your family had had a new baby calf and gave her the cute name! LOL! Anyway, I'm a dork!
