Girls Night!

Okay, first off I would like to apologize to my sisters for posting these pictures. But I couldn't help myself! They are so so so funny! They were bound to come out sooner or later!

A few of my sisters thought it would be fun to come visit us at our new place. They left their kids and jobs at home and came to get away. Which is funny if you know where I live. Who vacations here?

We had fun deep conditioning our hair and scrubbing our faces. We ate popcorn and other oh-so-yummy stuff that made our tummies hurt upon waking the next morning. Speaking of which we were pumped to wake up and do our morning exercise which consisted of some of us running, biking and riding in the car. I only have two bikes so everyone made do with their exercise levels. We all met at the waterfall that is 3 1/2 miles from our house. It was totally fun, but not as hard on a bike as I would have thought. Next time I will run it!

After that we hit the book store, then pizza for lunch and they left. It was very quick and oh so spur-of-the-moment.

Thanks for coming guys! It was a lot of fun! Maybe we can plan better and everyone can make it next time. Only thing is, if everyone comes, we will have to camp in the yard. There won't be enough room!

p.s. We only have one bathroom

That is an ovacado mixture of some kind on our faces.
Actually I am noticing that there are no pictures of me with goop on my head. Strange. Oh well. LOL!! Very convenient don't you think? Here is an after picture of how the deep conditioner treatment made my hair very soft and easy to manage.

Meet the Misseldines

Phoebe has something important to tell you all. Well, actually she will show you. Look closely.
TA-DA! Do you see it? TEETH! Looks painful huh? Two on top, one on the bottom and the fourth is still trying to make its appearance.
We had a Misseldine family reunion this past weekend. It was fun and I absolutely adore camping in any form whatsoever. I took a few pics here and there. Please nobody come after me for posting these. Don't be a hater!
Playing cards
Clapping game? I am not sure what they were doing.
Heather hates pictures. Thanks for letting me take your picture Heather!
Noelle contemplating jumping into the water.
Steve wanting to punch me in the face for taking his picture.
Sterling might come after me for this one.
Trevor being very generous and smiling.
Luke was mad that his mom threw his glow stick away.
The end.

I find myself sometimes bursting out with laughter at inappropriate times as I have random memories pop into my head.

One in particular I think about the most often.

When we were living at my parents' house, my older sister Megan lived next door with her family. They raise chickens (eggs & meat), sheep (wool...yeah she spins it into yarn), cows (meat again), and the occasional turkey (Thanksgiving dinner).

AH the memories of living next to Megan. There was the pellet gun and the chickens. Think about it this way... if you were shot with a pellet gun, do you think it would kill you? It would have to be a very good and lucky shot. Those chickens sure got a lot of bruises from those pellets.

Then there was her cat that got stuck in the engine compartment of the truck while we took it to get a load of wood around back. Oh don't worry, the cat was okay. It was in there about an hour with the engine running almost the whole time before we found it.

But the memory I will never forget is when I went next door to ask Megan a question. I knocked on the door and heard a yell "come in".

I walked in and the living room was empty. I peeked my head around the corner in the kitchen and there was Megan with a chicken in her sink. This is where my memory fades me. I am fairly certain she was just finishing up bathing her chicken in the sink. All I can remember is the complete shock I felt that there was even a chicken in her house.

I asked her what in heaven's name was she doing?!? Well duh! She was bathing her chicken.

Then she grabs her blow dryer. Not just ANY blow dryer. The kind that you curl your hair and dry it all at the same time. Like this.

She was curl drying the chicken! CURL DRYING the CHICKEN!! That chicken was so calm and relaxed.
And to give her credit, the chicken looked very nice when she was done.

Oh man! I am laughing just thinking about it again.

Oh YEAH! I did it! I totally did it!

But now that I am looking around, see it isn't quite as original as I had hoped.

Oh well.

It totally rocks!

p.s. Out of my slump! Thanks for the encouraging words everyone!
