Moving on...

We're moving 35 miles away. Isn't that interesting? Actually we aren't sure where we are moving yet, but the good news is that this time we are actually moving!

Words can't express my frustration with living in a two bedroom/one bathroom sized duplex. I have had it. The frustrating thing about this move will be pulling everything out of every nook and cranny that it has been stuffed in this tiny place. I may scream when I realize just how much junk we have.

Also, don't even ask me about what a wonderful task it will be to move the garage. We still have an unfinished Jeep in there, plus spare Jeep parts and tools and more tools. It doesn't sound like a lot, but I'd say we have just as much in the garage as the house. Trevor has an enormous arsenal of tools.

Growing

Phoebe is becoming a little lady. She is friends with EVERYONE. I'm not kidding. She has this way of making everyone she talks to feel as if they are the most special person in the world.

I made a very important decision today though. I'm not sending Phoebe to Kindergarten next year. I don't really know how to explain my feelings on this, she's just not ready. I am ready to send her, but it would not be for the right reasons. I just can't do it.

To Flip or Not to Flip

Do you? Do you Flip? Do you flip your eyelids inside out?

Don't get grossed out like my kids. I did it for them tonight and they all refuse to attempt it. I even tried to tell them how cool their friends would think it was. Still, a resounding NO! I blame it all on my brothers. I remember them meticulously showing me the proper way to do this as a child. Oh the hours and hours that went into practicing! And for what? I can remember showing my friends how I could do two at a time. Yes, both eyes at once. I'm so cool. And for some reason, I didn't have very many friends as a child. I wonder why...

Funny Quote of the Day

The Week I Almost Died

I don't think I can remember being this sick since I've been an adult. And poor Phoebe has it just as bad as me. Luckily even though Carter has it, it was only bad for the first two days. He seems to be weathering it much better than Phoebe and Me. Yesterday I had a fever of 103.2 two hours AFTER I took Tylenol. Today I am feeling a bit better, as is Phoebe. With this sickness, you never know though. You have days where you feel like you are on the mend and then WHAM you get sick the next day even worse than before. It's never-ending. So here we are feeling hopeful that this thing is on its way out the door.
