It has been a great holiday. We started out on the Third of July with a fireworks show at a friend's house. Not their fireworks but one that was put on by the township (Don't ask me how the township/city thing works because I have had it explained to me numerous times and still don't get it) and we were able to watch it from their backyard. So it was lots of fun and for once Logan didn't scream and cry. He actually loved it!

Playing Red Rover while we waited for it to get dark.

This morning we got up and went to a parade! I have never been to a Fourth of July parade before, but it really put me in the mood. I felt a real pride in our country and truly blessed to be an American. Logan was scared of the guy on the stilts, but it sure was cool.
Lastly we ended the night at another friend's house for a BBQ. Lots of good food and games. The whole group of us walked down to the park to play kickball. It too was fun until Logan wet himself while playing on the playground and Samantha had a major poopy blowout. We went home with two screaming children and two worn out parents. FUN FUN FUN!!!
What a crazy couple of days! I wish we could've come to the party last night. We're missing everything!
ReplyDeleteWow! You were having "blowouts" everywhere...including the fireworks!
