Help!!
Things are out of control here at the Misseldine house. I think the lack of sleep could have something to do with it. I feel as if I am slowly losing my mind. Don't get me wrong here. I mean, I wouldn't change anything that has happened over the past few weeks, but I can't help but feel concerned for my little Logan. He has always been such a sensitive and sweet little boy. I have always felt that he and I had a very strong bond...especially with Trevor gone so much. But lately he has not wanted anything to do with me, and the sweet boy that once was is gone for the time being. I have noticed that he is more aggressive with other kids and he will ignore everything I say to him. If I ask him to do anything, he will say "no" and walk the other way. That's never happened before, and it really does concern me. I don't know how to help him through this tough time. Anyone have any advice? I want my sweet Logan back!

Oh, Alyson! I don't know what to tell you because I have yet to be in that situation. But if you need someone to take him off your hands, SERIOUSLY, CALL US!! Alexis really misses him & maybe getting away from the house for a little bit will help him!
ReplyDeleteHe just needs a little time to adjust probably. Just make sure to give him at least 10 minutes of special Mom only time a day if not more if you can squeeze it in and it should help. AND PRAY LOTS!!!!!! Good luck.
ReplyDeleteoh my gosh! Connor is being the same exact way! It's making me so sad and so frustrated all the time! I hope it changes when Grandma leaves but am doubting it!
ReplyDeleteIn Weston's eyes, Logan is still one of his bestest buds. He is always welcome to come over and hunt bears! When Savanna was born, Weston felt like he had to yell 24/7. He still struggles with listening, but is starting to come around. When Logan starts to better understand the "new" routine and settle in, you will see the sweet little boy again. Call if you ever need to vent!
ReplyDeletehey, it does get better...promise! braelyn was very angry ALL the time when addy was born. she was excited and aprehensive at first with the new baby, then realized that addy took all the attention away from here. she has a very strong personality so it is still hard at times, but she is adjusting well. brae would act out alot and seemed angry all the time and i began wondering where my litte girl went. i found that if i gave her at least20-30 minutes of my "undivided" attention with just me and her,it helped ALOT. garret would come home and take over for a bit and i would have time with her alone so she wouldnt feel so "left out" sorry i have written a "novel" here! if u need any help or need a break, PLEASE ask! brae would love a play date!!!
ReplyDeleteAllyson,
ReplyDeleteI don't know if I've ever commented on your blog before, but this is Jennifer Jackson. Oh my gosh, you described Jaelyn to a T. She is acting the same way and it has completely surprised me. I knew it would be hard for her, but I never expected this kind of behavior. NO advice, but let me know if you find something that works.
