The Greatest Thing Since Sliced Bread

We just got a new toy....a WEBCAM! Yeah, I always thought they were just for women to make money (you know what I'm talking about). Turns out they have another purpose....keeping families in touch with each other. My parents are turning in their mission papers very soon (yes. they are very old), and thought it would be a cool way to be able to keep up with us all while they are gone. It has been so fun to talk to my family and actually see them and what they are doing. I highly recommend getting one of these gadgets.

    we have a webcam, and all it does is frustrate me. we connect with our family and then spend half an hour trying to get the sound and picture just right!

    HAHAHA - that's exactly what my family thought when I told them we had a webcam! They thought it was weird until I explained to them how it worked - then they got one!

    We always have trouble with ours too!!! The picture does not look like a movie at all but lots of jerky stills put together. I think it is because or computer is so slow and old though. So glad yours works. My kids love to see everybody when we do it.
