I refused to get on the roof. WE refused to get on the roof.
In the end, HE got on the roof.
Today a dear friend died. I don't know what I'm going to do without my friend.
My friend was a huge support to my business and helped me make my clients look good.
If you haven't guessed it yet, I'm talking about my wonderful, amazing, dear to me computer.
Dead.
*sigh*
What am I going to do?
The hard drive gave out. Like, it's toast. Like, it makes a grinding noise and won't boot up. Yeah, and then there is the error codes it is throwing. It's like her brain gave out, but her body is still kicking.
Dangit.
Sorry about no update last week. It was a big one. We finished up Logan's last week of school. There were a lot of things to turn in and my phone and tablet both decided to act up at the same time.
We dug into the dirt in the crawl space under the kids bathroom last week. Trevor ended up having to go outside and dig up the drain pipe because it was cracked. He got it uncovered only to find it was covered in a hunk of cement. So he chipped at it for a couple hours and finally got it out. Now we have a hole into the house and an open pipe sitting un-manned in a trench outside the house.
We started digging a trench in the crawlspace for pipe too. It was no fun.
Trevor went pipe shopping again this week and I'm not sure if he forgot, or just couldn't find what he needed, but in any event he didn't get the parts to fix the pipe outside the house that goes to the crawl space.
This week we worked on plumbing the master bath. I got to use my new jig saw to cut out the toilet and shower drains. It was awesome!
The plumbing is mostly done; we just need to finish the vent.
My dad helped me turn some vanity legs for the bathroom vanity I'm going to build. I'm really excited to get started on it.
We also finished laying the hardy-backer in the master bath and closet.
This week I'm looking into paint to water-proof the basement. I keep asking myself what I can do to keep moving forward with the kids when Trevor is not around. There is a lot.
