I had a screening with a physical therapist today. Awesome huh? I am a little confused with what exactly is wrong with my shoulder. He was really excited about it though. He said he hadn't seen too many of these types of injuries. Whatever my injury is. Something about the nerve being impended and the arm being weak. He said there was way too much play in the socket of the shoulder and that I had probably torn the Rotator Cuff which is why my shoulder is so weak.
SO now I get to go to physical therapy twice a week for a while. I really hope this helps me to be able to function again. My shoulder is killing me from him pulling and twisting it today to see what is wrong. Blah Blah Blah.
Totally not what I thought I was going to be doing to treat it, but I'm excited. He laughed at me when I told him about seeing a chiropractor. HA. Chiropractors and Physical Therapists don't get along if you didn't know. Also, he thought it was ridiculous about me going to see a Neurologist. Hmm. Maybe Physical Therapists don't like Neurologists either. Nevertheless, I think I really am going to cancel the appointment with the Neurologist.

Welcome Spring!
Thursday morning, I awoke to Logan running in my room excitedly screaming "It's Frank! It's Frank!" and then running to the window to pull back the blinds and look outside. Sure enough, there he was on his riding mower, back from the winter break. As excited as he was to see him, I couldn't get Logan to go outside and talk to him and tell Frank he was glad he is back. I can't wait to see what unfolds this season in the Lawnmower Man Saga.
Phoebe has been sick. Phoebe has been sick for almost two months. The doctors bills are getting larger and larger. They thought it was Celiac Disease. All the symptoms were there, but they recently ruled that one out. I think she is starting to feel better and put on weight again, so maybe it was just a really long drawn-out virus? Who knows.
I can't wait to start regularly going to the park again! I am itching to get outside and get some exercise and sun! So glad it's Spring!

Recipe Sharing
I am not one for sharing recipes. Not that I don't want to share, but my recipes are not worthy of sharing. However, I came across this recipe and it would honestly be a shame not to share it. It is THAT good!
I would never buy a deep fryer, although I have entertained the idea. After thinking about my family's health I made the decision against it. We love fries, but they have to be just so. Not soggy, just crispy enough.These fries are so yummy. You'll never believe they are baked. Mmmmm. My mouth is watering...

Shoulder Pain {update}

I have pain in my shoulder (we call them "episodes" now since it is happening so often) probably 2-8 times a day. They aren't the huge awful kind, just little ones that still don't feel very good. When it gets bad I just take an Aleve and try to relax.....and get out the heating pad. (Hence the picture)
So what do you think? Should I see a chiropractor? Should I keep my appointment? Help me make this decision!!!
