I've Been Busy...

Sorry it's been a while since I've posted anything. Thanks for bearing with me while I get things ready to move yet again. I promise to be a more faithful blogger once things settle down.

CAUTION: THE FOLLOWING IS A VERY, VERY LONG POST.

Here's what we have been up to the past week. Last Sunday we celebrated Logan's THIRD birthday! We decided at the last minute not to have a party with all his friends and just kept it simple since things are a little hectic. Here was the horribly decorated cake. At least it had writing right?
Here he is modeling his new Thomas the Train underwear

On to different news...

I am an AWARD WINNING photographer! HA HA HA! I entered a whole bunch of stuff in the Western Idaho Fair. It was just two dollars to enter as much as you wanted. I won second place and an honorable mention for two of my pictures. (and some money too!)

Here is the picture that won second.

For play group this week we went to the splash park. One last wild fling right? It was fun.

We should have taken a picture a little sooner because some people had already left here.

I had to take advantage of Natalie's beautiful wood floors before we left. They really are very pretty and the lighting was just right.

Who's The Biggest Loser?

ME!

YAY! That's right! I won the competition! I am so excited I can hardly stand it! I lost 15% of my body's weight and a total of 27 lbs! I have 8 pounds left to lose to get to my pre-baby weight, but even then I think it's quite an accomplishment! Losing baby weight is HARD!

Alright thanks for letting me toot my own horn. Carry on.

Goodbye Lansing (Part one)

I was packing up some papers recently and came across some pictures from August 16th 2006. It was the day we left Idaho for Michigan. It was a very sad day.
Logan had his first birthday SIX days before we left. He was a cute little guy. Not much trouble yet.
Here we are driving away. That's my hand waving goodbye out the window.

Now we are getting ready to leave Michigan for Idaho. Looking back at the past two years, I can see why Heavenly Father wanted us to come here. We have grown so much. I have learned a lot from the examples of others. I have learned how to be a better wife, mother, daughter and friend. I have become better.

I am thankful for the friendships I have made here and the awesome people I have met.

Trevor has been working on the "trailer" in between studying for finals. Here is what he has done so far. He put sides on it (Don't worry. The body is basically just bondo anyway).
Jim and Trevor loaded some boxes to see how they liked it.
Mark and Trevor took the engine out and took it to the scrap yard. No engine means we have more room for boxes (in the engine compartment!) and money (from the scrap yard!).

Splash Pad

Here in Michigan we have some awesome free parks. One of which has this splash pad. It has been one of our favorite places this summer. We like to go nice and early so we can have the place to ourselves.

Samantha has already outgrown her 6 month swimsuit. Here she is modeling what was supposed to be next summer's. It's a little big.

Not that I'm counting down or anything, but we've got two weeks left! I'm starting to feel sick to my stomach!

Remember When?

Only 12 pounds left to go! (Seems like a lot but consider the fact that I gained 60#'s)
