The first picture is of Logan in his regular clothes. My sister made fun of a picture that I posted earlier in a post about how Logan was trying to run away. Let me just clarify that Logan was in his PAJAMAS in that picture. He doesn't dress like that during the day. Just at night. :o)

I have an AWESOME play dough recipe that is super easy to make. We play with it all the time. Recently we have gotten very creative with the things we can make.

Sunglasses

A nose

Logan trying to copy me. Oops. Sometimes I am not the best example for him. Don't pay any attention to that messy house in the background.

We finally made it to the Impression 5 Science Center. It was AWESOME! I wish I had gone sooner so I could take advantage of the coupon to get in free, but alas it ends tomorrow. Thanks Katie for inviting us and making my dream to go there come true!

The water room. They got soaked!

Weston plays a mean piano

Look at that big bubble!!

Pull Weston, pull!!

Cleared For Baby!

Yes yes, it is true. Sameerah said this morning at my visit that she would not stop labor if it happened. She said everything is good to go. Like it's gonna happen anytime soon. Anyone want to go for a run? Lets have a volleyball game or something. Help me out people!!!

Random Stuff

Just some random stuff from the past week. The first is Logan on Saturday. He was really mad that Alexis wasn't coming over and told me he was going outside...to do what, I don't know. He put his shoes and hat and Daddy's sunglasses on and then opened the front door to leave. I then pointed out to him that it was cold outside and he needed a coat. While he was getting his coat on, I locked the screen door, and when he came back he fiddled with it for about ten minutes. When he still couldn't get it open, he abandoned the idea and closed the door and took off all his "outside" things. An updated "fat" picture of me taken by Trevor today. He took one of my actual belly, but I thought it was too gross to post. Sorry! 36 weeks pregnant!!
And finally a sign board I painted and tacked ribbon to. It makes a great bow holder! I know it's a weird angle for the picture, but Logan took it for me.

The Winter BLAHS!

Is anyone else oh so tired of this annoying weather? One minute it is all warm and the snow is melting and it just seems like Spring is in the air, and the next thing you know it's freezing cold and snowing again. I wish Mother Nature would stop her teasing. I am ready for Spring!

I'm a NERD

Yes, I am a nerd. And to prove it to you, here are a few of the nerdy things I have been doing lately.
Yeah, I figured out those headbands and how to make the bows. I have the headbands in pink, white, black and creme so far. I have so many cute bows now. Although, I want to know how Emily Becker makes her cute bows and how Erika makes her flower clips. I can't figure it out! Pacifier clips. I got this idea from Emily. She is just so in style! I just love the one little Ellie has. Of course you can't just make one and be done with it.I will admit I have made NINE so far. You gotta have different colors! And I double crimped the ends for safety's sake. They say to check these leashes before each use. You never know...it could break.
This picture did not turn out well. This is also a binky leash, but these I made with ribbon. All colors of the rainbow. They are all very cute as well. I just couldn't help myself. Once you get going, it's hard to stop!

So I think I may be giving some of these things away since I have an over abundance. I told you... I am a nerd!

Hospital Tour

Yesterday Laura, Amy, and I took a little trip over to Ingham to see what their facilities have to offer. First of all, am I the only one who didn't know that Ingham has TWO campuses? Good thing I went with these girls or when the time comes to have the baby I would have shown up in the wrong place. No joke!

So I thought Sparrow was a bit confusing to find your way around, but never have I been in a more confusing unlabeled mess of hallways like Ingham. It is awful! The birthing suites are massive and comfortable, but I was disappointed to find that you don't get to stay in the same room the whole time. They move you a few hours after the baby arrives to a smaller room. I was really spoiled when I had Logan to stay in the same room the whole time.

All in all I really liked the labor and delivery center. I am all about the smaller hospital and more intimate setting.... and I really can't wait to get there! ha ha!

The Best News EVER!!

So I finally found a doc-in-the-box I can go to. They would NOT take my medicaid, but luckily I had signed up for Ingham Health Plan right before I got pregnant, and they were willing to take that. I went today, and the doctor said "Your lungs sound horrible". She just kept shaking her head like "why didn't you get this taken care of sooner". Yeah, well if I could have I WOULD have! She said that my air intake was greatly inhibited due to the amount of crap in my lungs (duh!) and that it could affect the baby. So I told her that the medicine they gave me in the ER was DUMB because I couldn't take it. So she wrote me out some prescriptions, and gave me a breathing treatment, and sent me on my way. The really exciting part about all this is that she gave me a prescription antacid, so I'm hoping that I won't have to take 16 Tums a day anymore. Hooray for feeling better! I'm looking forward to the end of this next week!

I Have the Best Friends in the World!

Well, I am finally catching up the blog. Maybe it has something to do with this stupid illness I have had, but I just can't seem to catch up! So today's subject - BABY SHOWER!!!!

Last Saturday Natalie threw the bestest baby shower ever for me! I still can't believe how many people came! I am very loved! I got some much needed baby clothes and blankets and a WAY cute diaper bag, and might I say some WAY CUTE hand-crafted bows from Erika. I got two gift cards too, and Logan and I went shopping yesterday and got some socks and tights, and some cute little jeans. We played the "guess how big Alyson is" game, and Erika won although Alexis was very close. I thought I was excited before, but now I can hardly stand the wait until this baby girl gets here. I think I am most excited to dress her up and make her all cutesy. Gosh, it will be just like having my own doll around . . . . like playing barbies when I was little. Now you just wait, she will probably be the type to hate the bows in her hair, if she has any at all.
And I had to throw this picture in of Connor the pirate. Very imaginative of him I'd say! Not to mention, look how cute Laura looks!

An Oldie, but a Goodie

It has been such a lovely week just laying in bed coughing and puking (due to the excessive coughing). You can imagine how bored I have been, so I went digging through the movies and found one it's been years since I have watched. Charlie by Jack Weyland is such a good movie. I'm pretty sure I've NEVER cried so much just watching a movie. Maybe it's just my pregnant hormones. I highly recommend this one to anyone who may have missed it the first time it came out. It's got everything an LDS movie should have - Comedy, Romance, just a hint of "oh brother", and of course drama. And if you want to borrow it, well then let me know.
